It had been a long time since the last tourist, so I revisited the
role for my first game of the tournament.  I got a late start and did
not have much spare time to play this year, but I enjoyed this game.

Found many altars and racked up quite a storehouse of artifact
weapons.  My main combo was two-weaponing with Magicbane and a silver
saber, although I also had +7 Vorpy (mostly to make sure that nobody
else could have it on Astral)

Vlad really did not want to be found this game.  I had to search the
entire range of levels several times before I found his stairs under
some loot in Orcus town.  Once I attacked him, Magicbane confused him
and he immediately read a scroll of teleport.  Dang.  Now he could be
anywhere in the 50 levels of the dungeon!

I searched the dozen levels below, then a dozen levels up.  I finally
found him on Medusa, which is better than DL One!

I had a full kit by the time I got the wand.  When I got to Astral, I
used one of my spare wishes for a chicken and made a dash to the first
one could, then wished for a helm and offered it chaotic rather than
neutral.
