Shirt #19 - Googie Checks

Long-sleeve cotton flannel shirt, with an abstract geometric print reminiscent of the 1950's Googie style. Retired in February 2024 from the collection of Dave Loffredo.

This was the first fabric that I ordered from fabric.com and I was very impressed with it. It was much denser and higher quality than what I was used to from Joann's.

This pattern was quite challenging, and I had to rotate the natural orientation of the fabric so that the white "separators" were horizontal rather than vertical. I was very pleased with how I was able to align everything and consider it my technically finest work up to that point.
