Shirt #46 - Polka Dot Rainbow

Short-sleeve casual shirt in a cotton print with polka dots in a rainbow of colors. Now in the collection of Dave Loffredo.

Around 1990 or so, I found a shirt covered with stars in the Boston Traders outlet store while visiting Manchester, Vermont. It was short sleeve, in a white twill, with stars in a rainbow of colors. For almost thirty years, the "Star Shirt" was my go-to pick for any festive summer occasion. I finally retired it in August 2024.

When I saw this polka dot print, I knew it would make a worthy successor! I particularly enjoyed using a rainbow of buttons and buttonhole thread colors on the front band!
