Wally has been encouraging my sewing since the very beginning and I constantly reminded him that he just needed to pick out some fabric and I would make him a shirt. He finally brought me this star spangled pattern and I set to sewing. Happily, the Hawaiian-style pattern that I was using took less material than a casual shirt with a two-piece collar and front band. By skipping the pockets on Wally's shirt, I had just enough material to squeeze out a second shirt for Tracey!
